IH Packer Wheel Axle Bearing
"Case/IH charges nearly $90 for their re-placement bearing and it's not nearly as good as our triple-sealed bearing that sells for $43.95," says Dave Barnes, manufacturer of a replacement bearing for packer wheel axle bearings on IH grain drills.
Barnes says the original spool and block bearing is a high-wear part that requires greasing several times daily when in use. When they wear out it's a time-consuming repair job to replace them because the packer wheels have to come off the gangs.
The new replacement bearing simply bolts in place of the original. Fits IH 150, DS, and DSA drills.
